I reduced my dose to half 2. It has helped me a lot. I was on Wellbutrin before that, didn't help. I've been on prozac, Paxil worst evercelexa, amytriptaline, lexapro None helped my depression at all, some gave me the feeling that I'm pretty sure is too much serotonin. Abilify has been the only one I've taken that actually helped my mood. So I dealt with the side effects.

Re: Abilify and caffine? I had a bad reaction to Abilify - jittery, pacing, irritable, couldn't keep legs still, couldn't lay down, more sui thoughts than ever. I possibly may have been drinking coffee at the time. But it just wasn't for me, pdoc took me off it right away, went on lithium which helped for awhile. I didn't see anything on Abilify's website about caffeine per say but it does say that one of the most common side effects with adults is restlessness.

Specifically: "an inner sense of restlessness or need to move akathisiaanxiety, insomnia, and restlessness OMG that is exactly what I am dealing with!!! I had no idea it was a side effect of abilify. I guess I have to call my pdoc. I don't drink caffeine specifically because of the anxiety and intestinal difficulties it gives me. I can only imagine the abilify might react with the caffeine poorly.

Re: abilify. Anxiety in what sense? Abilify can cause restlessness--does that sound at all similar to the experience you're having--or if not, what kind of anxiety is it? I have experienced restlessness with Abilify before, but that was about 9 years ago when I first started taking it. I don't experience it anymore, and I still take 30 mg of Abilify.

Perhaps it'd be best to discuss this anxiety with your prescriber? Maybe he or she could give you something to help with the anxiety or could give you a time frame as to when the anxiety might go away, if at all. Or, you could discuss switching to another drug with your prescriber as well. Abilify, for me, has been very good at eliminating my depression.

I don't know what the reason is that it was prescribed to you, but it would also help to know that, if you know. Community Liaison. Hugs from: bpcyclistbshaffer I take 20mgs of Abilify a day. I find it very activating so I have to take it in the morning. I get a monthly shot and am doing well now. It does initially cause anxiety and insomnia.

After a few months, these side effects wear off and now I experience somnolence and no anxiety. I feel good about myself now. I rarely ever experience depression. My psychosis has abated too. I think medication is not one size fits all. Thus, one has to find the right medication from trial and error.Who has been on both not together but tried both? What side-effects did you experience? I have been on Latuda and Abilify.

I ended up hospitalized. I think it was more effective than risperdal though and had low weight gain. I would probably take Latuda again despite the akathisa and restlessness. Risperdal is not working as well so I might just go back to Latuda soon. Back then I switched from Zyprexa to Latuda while having a major breakdown. So I started messing around with the dosages of Mirtazapine. Even though my negatives and depressive symptoms were still severe. On mg Latuda I also became compulsive, this caused me to gamble my monthly loan for more than a year.

After I got so pissed about my gambling behavior I decided to drop down to 37mg Latuda and my compulsive behaviour became manageble and the restlessness got diminished. In the end of I had a major breakdown again, just like before, despite my positive symptoms I was able to still function properly. However, I developed a starting sleeping disorder because of the psychotic break. I recalled that my sleep was fine on Zyprexa and Mirtazapine combo so I added those two in high dosages to the mix with 37mg Latuda.

Indo intertex 2019 exhibitor list

After a month or 2 my symptoms were fully under controle so I thought to drop both because I was sleeping too much and decided to stick to a low dose of Latuda.

After adding 2. Even some causing extra side-effects like akathisia, restlessness, worsening of positive symptoms and even Tardive Dyskenisia. I was hoping Cariprazine would be on the market by now but I have to wait until the end of October. Just a thought, maybe those two together aggravated your symptoms? Adding Quetiapine 25mg to Latuda made me hallucinate. Adding a higher dosage than 5mg Zyprexa to Latuda aggravates my positive symptoms also. I am at present on Abilify and Latuda combination.

This is a good and effective combination for me. I had read somewhere that this combination is very popular in US.
